dramaphile, who was one of the winners of the caption contest, requested Padfoot and baby Harry. so the other day while i was out grocery shopping i saw this little girl trying to pick her nose with her tongue and had that image burned into my brain. and thus i present:

i'm really bad at drawing animals. i looked up several breeds of dogs and kindsorta based padfoot on a german shepherd, but kept resizing him because i wanted him to loom over harry. so now it sort of looks like his head would have to be carried in a wheelbarrow in front of his body, and that he has five legs.
i've been experimenting with different coloring styles and i'm not too sure about this one. i think i've been imitating sherant (whose art is the *shiznit*) waaay too much. but i guess that's just how it works- when you're still learning about art, you imitate the people you admire for awhile until you develop your own style. maybe i should just go back to the old purple backgrounds i always used to use.

i overslept and missed both my morning classes... i'm prematurely transforming into a an old fart.
